  • You should do all the process in the same room where the router is in.

  • Else you can connect the ethernet cable to your router and use the WPS button to complete the setup.


Boost your Wi-FI Performance


If you want to get the best performance from your extender then place that closer to the router, because if you keep your extender too far from the router then the connectivity gets lost and you will again face the same issue.

So, place your rockspace extender nearest to the router and closer to the dead zonal network area.

Follow these steps to reset rockspace Wi-fi extender:


  • Find the reset button on the rockspace router and press it with your paperclip for a couple of seconds.

  • The LED light will turn red which shows that the reboot process got started

  • Wait till  30 seconds to access the extender, Use  re.rockspace.local , re.rockspace.local or htpp://192.168.50.

  • Login to there. rockspace.local login page through their default credentials, now on the main page of the admin panel.

  • Find the management Tab on the top right corner of the screen.

  • Click on that in the drop-down menu select Restore Factory Default Setting, 

  • A warning pop-up will display on your screen select ok on that.
